CD double grate construction

Galvanized metal substructure for hanging plasterboards smooth, perforated or slotted.

Description and installation instructions

First, the U-wall connection profile No. 5244 is doweled to the walls all around at a distance of approx. 500 mm offset.

The CD support profiles, e.g. 5120, are placed on top of the U-wall connection profile and then the hangers are attached. Maximum hanger distance from the wall 1/3 hanger distance, maximum support profile distance from the wall 1/3 of the permissible panel profile span.

To do this, the CD panel profiles No. 5120 5116 are inserted into the bottom of the U wall connection profile and connected to the suspended CD support profiles using cross quick connectors No. 6102 or angle anchors No. 6090. The center distance of the 1st CD panel profile from the wall is to be taken from the mounting table according to the panel type and thickness (e.g. 500 mm for 12.5 mm GK panel).

Profile joints are to be arranged offset using CD connector No. 6079. In the case of CD support profiles, an additional hanger is to be arranged at the profile joint. Angle anchors must be bent with pliers!

There are two possibilities for suspension:

1. For low suspension heights (up to approx. 500 mm) we recommend our CD hanger with special tension spring no. 6038 in connection with correspondingly long suspension wires with eyes or hooks.

 2. in case of larger suspension heights, the compression-resistant No radius suspension, consisting of adjustment rods of the appropriate length and the CD Nonius hanger No. 6018 must be used; the adjustment rod and the Nonius hanger must be connected with two safety clamps No. 6199. Non-self-locking clamps must be bent over. Herewith can be adjusted millimeter by millimeter.

Finally, the panelling plates are screwed on with drywall screws without pre-drilling, running transverse to the plate profiles. The screwing and subsequent filling must be carried out according to the installation guidelines of the panel manufacturers.
