A building plinth in the ETICS area is usually ensured by the clear separation of the façade surface and the plinth surface. The connection of the plinth surface at the top edge of the ground to the existing floor covering usually remains problematic. Completely unproblematic: With our floor connection profile 37520, you can realize the direct connection of the ETICS base to paving stones, asphalt, patio coverings or floor coverings.

Simply uncomplicated handling and design
You slide the floor connection profile between the thermal insulation and the floor covering, then adjust it from 60 to 30 mm using the predetermined breaking point in the insertion leg. The built-in slats guarantee optimum, spring-loaded positioning and ensure a perfect, closed joint. You can additionally seal them by inserting a compression tape. This provides the ideal protection against the accumulation of water, dust or leaves between the base and floor surface.

With their loop, our ETICS profiles offer a high degree of flexibility and the ability to absorb movements. They are also crack and rain-proof in the joint area. The PVC profile bodies with fabric strips combine elasticity with robustness. Our Protektor range provides you with profiles for the surface and for inside corners. They are available for total plaster thicknesses of 6 mm and for medium-thickness ETICS with total plaster thicknesses of 10 mm.

Thermal bridge minimized

Thermal bridges are often the cause of mold on ETICS facades. The ceiling connection to the wall, window lintels and window reveals, balconies and roller shutter boxes are particularly susceptible to this problem. Our special connections and closures prevent thermal bridges and thus also the formation of mold.

Façade cracks often occur along sliding ceiling supports, e.g. on the upper storey ceiling, at the transition to balcony parapets or when adding storeys. Great care is required to transfer such a bearing into the façade and seal it permanently. The Protektor profile combination decouples the plaster and insulation layers in the area of the ceiling support in plaster façades and thermal insulation. Because movements are no longer passed on in this way, you create the basic prerequisite for a damage-free result.
