CD vault construction

Galvanized metal substructure in vault form for plasterboard ceilings based on factory pre-bent C ceiling profiles.

The suspension of the factory pre-bent C ceiling profiles must be carried out with compression-resistant vernier hangers No. 6017 and adjusting rods in required lengths and in connection with U hangers No. 6157. C ceiling profiles No. 5120 are to be mounted crosswise to the curved C ceiling profiles in longitudinal direction using cross quick connectors No. 6102. The cross quick connectors must be secured against slipping using self-tapping screws No. 6239. The center distance of the C ceiling profiles must be selected according to the planking and vault shape. Finally, the planking is to be screwed to the C ceiling profiles either dry or prebent in crosswise laying and filled.

Bending, fixing and filling must be carried out according to the processing guidelines of the panel manufacturer. 

The information contained in the drawing can be used to describe vault constructions. For bending the profiles, at least two dimensions of the dimension combinations mentioned below are necessary.

The production of the factory pre-bent CD profiles is only made to order. Minimum order of 24 pieces per length and radius (also for repeat orders)
