CD leveling construction

Galvanized metal substructure at the same height for hanging plasterboard panels smooth, perforated or slotted.

Description and installation instructions

First, the U-connection profiles No. 5179 are dowelled to the walls all around at intervals of 500 mm. The CD Cross Profiles are clipped in place using inserted CD Cross Connectors.

The CD Cross Profiles No. 5118 are clipped into the CD Support Profiles, which are suspended at intervals of 1250 mm, at intervals of 500 mm using CD Safety Cross Connectors inserted into the CD Cross Profiles. The rail joints of the support rails No. 5120 are to be connected with the longitudinal connector No. 6079. Maximum hanger distance from the wall = 250mm

The gypsum plasterboards are screwed to the C ceiling profile grating with drywall screws.

There are three possibilities for suspension:

1. CD hanger with special tension spring no. 6038 and suspension wire with eyelet (125-2000 mm long).

2. CD nonius hanger No. 6018 and adjusting rod. Nonius hanger and adjustment rod must be connected by a safety clip or 2 safety clamps. Not self-locking clamps must be bent over. With this construction a rigid suspension is achieved, which can be adjusted exactly to 1 mm.
