Façade plaster renovated in line with listed buildings with contemporary thermal insulation – Protektor plaster profiles make it simple and beautiful
Binz on the island of Rügen, Prora district. Protektor simplifies the realization of an XXL task: renovation and conversion of a listed monumental building into a modern vacation complex.

Among the many challenges of the renovation project, the 550 meters of exterior façade are the focal point. The longer and larger a building is, the more important the façade is in creating a successful overall impression.
Plaster profiles give structure to new exterior façades
High-quality plastered surfaces are particularly lacking in old buildings. Just like this listed building, which is several hundred meters long. Imperfections and damaged areas of the original façade were therefore evened out with thermal insulation plaster.
Protektor makes the demanding work easier
The Protektor edge profile 1065 and plinth profile 1265 with plastic coating are ideal for working with the 50 mm thick thermal insulation plaster. Unevenness in the original façade was carefully evened out by applying the plaster profiles at irregular intervals. Today, the entire length of the new façade is modern, friendly and finished in bright white exterior plaster.
