NEW A modular system for expansion joint profiles

With the new expansion joint profiles, Protektor is setting new standards in terms of flexibility, ease of application and durability. Developed for thermal insulation systems as well as interior and exterior plaster, the profiles ensure permanently secure movement joints, optimum plaster adhesion and clean surfaces – in new builds as well as renovations and prefabricated houses.

At the heart of the innovation is the new modular system: six perfectly coordinated individual parts can be individually combined and simply clipped together on site. This creates perfectly fitting solutions for plaster thicknesses of 6, 10 or 14 mm – even for transitions between different layer thicknesses.

Thanks to three-dimensional movement absorption, the profiles reliably absorb tensile and compression movements. The three-part structure prevents predetermined breaking points and mesh detachment and ensures a permanently stable joint. An optimized hole pattern guarantees the best plaster penetration, a secure hold and a clean pull-off edge.

Protektor is also breaking new ground in terms of sustainability: the profiles are made from recycled PVC and combine innovative technology with responsible use of materials. For a better practicability, the middle section is provided with a protective film to offer protection during the cleaning process.
