Following modernization, the former John Deere administration building in Mannheim is now barrier-free, soundproofed, energy-efficient and has a modern look.

The modernization of existing buildings is considered an architectural challenge. In addition to Protektor drywall construction, our lightweight steel construction offers many possibilities, individual solutions and variably adaptable corrosion protection for conversions in existing buildings. The modern external ceiling of this flagship residential project in Mannheim-Niederfeld was realized with our corrosion-protected defendo substructure.

Protektor’s C3 is a corrosion-protected ceiling substructure with a tested and standard-compliant C3 coating (DIN EN ISO 12944 & DIN 55634). Ideal for metropolitan outdoor areas with moderate sulphur dioxide pollution, ideally suited for the exposed exterior ceiling of this surrounding residential building terrace.

For higher corrosion loads, Protektor offers substructures in corrosivity category C5 / protection class high.
